Another vintage find we found particularly charming was Home Made Lovely's DIY burlap canvas. Shannon covered a board in burlap to create a simple starting point then added pretty and delicate lace and ribbons from which to peg her bits and bobs.

Please do not promote glitter use. Glitter is just plastic pollution, waiting to happen. It gets washed into the system, and cannot be removed. Many manufacturers and businesses have made a point of no longer using it. Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback! I know you can get biodegradable glitter, so maybe that could be a good alternative?
These are lovely ideas, thank you so much for sharing. I was looking for inspiration to make a board for my daughter's bedroom by her desk. This was perfect, thank you ?
You're welcome, Karrie! We're glad we could help.
Amazing idea's thank you. Just what I was looking for. As for the pin idea's they were great. I quite like the glitter idea. Though glitter glue is less messy ;) and it doesn't get washed into the system if that is what people are concerned about.
Thanks for sharing!
