How do I get my towels fluffy again ? The link does not work !

    1. Author Joanne A on October 11, 2019 at 10:30 am

Hi Elaine! Sorry about that - we're in the process of updating our older content, including fixing links like this. To get your towels fluffy again, we like to add white vinegar to the wash. You don't need to add any detergent or conditioner - just vinegar in the drawer where you'd normally put the detergent. Run your normal cycle and the towels will be stripped of product buildup. This makes them nice and fluffy again!

That's a great idea! As long as it's an old one that you're not planning to use again, of course.

Thanks for this amazing article. I never knew moving the shower curtain to the middle would increase air flow. I always habitually swipe them to the left side, so will adapt from now on. Also, love your tip about using glass jars to store stuff to look more presentable. I will store my bath salts and cotton buds in glass jars from now on too. I never use or keep a toilet brush. I am germphobic and they are the most disgusting things in a household! I use a bit of bleach and antibacterial wet wipes to clean my toilets whenever required instead and never have to scrub my toilets with a nasty toilet brush! From an Expert Home Tips fan.
