17 reasons why cheese is the best

Cheese. Gooey, melted, grated, oozing, crumbled, sliced.

There are many ways to enjoy it and here are just a few reasons why involving cheese in your meal is a really stupendous idea.

4. These Pork Pie Bites

All my own creation. So proud.

I was watching a film with some friends when I grew peckish and reached for my trusty pack of mini pork pies. Suddenly, something occurred to me. There's a way to make this great snack even greater! Grabbing a sharp knife, a jar of Branston Pickle and some cheddar cheese I set to work. I call them Pork Pie Bites, and I'm sure M&S will call me up shortly so they can start stocking them...

5. This Fried Macaroni & Cheese

When will I find you Oh Ball of Macaroni Cheese?

This outstandingly good-looking snack is called a Fried Macaroni and Cheese Ball. Sadly, so far I haven't been able to make or locate one (for this I shed a tear) but at the first opportunity, I plan to eat as many as possible. Check out this recipe for Fried Macaroni Cheese today - let me know how it goes!

6. These Sausage Rolls

Grate it on.

Every winter I make a lot of sausage rolls. They're actually really easy to make - pork mince, sage, breadcrumbs, grated onion, puff pastry and an extra-special ingredient.... Parmesan! I use this sharp hard cheese within the meat mixture, and on top of the pastry along with a sprinkling of sea salt.

7. Because Burgers are nothing without cheese

9. Because Waffles, Heinz Baked Beans & Cheddar cheese maketh this meal

Keep it simple, stupid.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is a big fan of this lazy dinner. If you're not a waffle fan, imagine chips instead, underneath a generous helping of Heinz Baked Beans and grated cheese. For a touch of sophistication, try adding some freshly ground pepper. Is there anything better?

10. This Nut Roast

I know where those fired macaroni sheese balls can be found Colleen B. Probably loads of places but Wishbone in Brixton does them. They're very cheesy. Hope you find an opportunity soon!
